Description

Crispy shrimp cooked in the air fryer, tossed in tangy sweet and sour sauce. Quick, easy, and perfect for weeknight dinners or appetizers.

Ingredients 

  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/3 cup rice vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 4 tablespoons pineapple juice
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deviened

Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup honey 1/3 cup rice vinegar, 2 tablespoons soy sauce, 2 tablespoons tomato paste and 4 tablespoons pineapple juice until smooth.
  • Add peeled and deveined 1 pound shrimp to the sauce, coating each piece evenly.
  • Set the air fryer temperature to 400 degrees F (200°C) and lightly spray the basket with cooking spray.
  • Place the coated shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Set cook time for 6-8 minutes, shaking halfway through for even cooking, until shrimp are pink and slightly crispy.
  • Transfer the shrimp to a serving dish, drizzle with extra sauce if desired, and serve over rice, noodles, or a fresh salad.
