6Italian sausage, either hot or mild
1teaspoongarlic powder
1teaspoonItalian seasoning
1teaspoonSalt

2largegreen peppers
2largered peppers
2largeyellow peppers
3tablespoonsolive oil
6sub rolls, optional, for serving
Instructions
Slice the 2 large green peppers and 2 large onions into thick strips (about 1/2-inch thick).
In a large mixing bowl, toss the 2 large red peppers and onions with the 3 tablespoons olive oil, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning, 1 teaspoon Salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper until evenly coated.
Slice the I6 Italian sausagelinks into 1-inch thick rounds, or leave them whole.
Place only the seasoned 2 large yellow peppers and onions into the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 10 minutes. Shake the basket halfway through.
After 10 minutes, add the sliced sausage rounds to the air fryer basket with the partially roasted vegetables. Gently toss everything together.
Continue cooking at 400°F (200°C) for another 10–12 minutes.
The dish is ready when the sausage is browned and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C), and the vegetables are tender and caramelized. Optional, serve on 6 sub rolls.
