Ingredients
1poundground beef, lean
1poundground sausage, lean
4stalksgreen onions, or white onions
1teaspoonsalt
1/2teaspoonred pepper flakes
1/2teaspoonblack pepper
4sheetspie crust, refrigerated
2tablespoonsbutter, melted, and unsalted
Instructions
Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat Add the 1 pound ground beef1 pound ground sausage, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, and 4 stalks green onions to the hot skillet and cook until the meat is browned and crumbled. Drain, then place the meat back onto the skillet.
Unroll 4 sheets pie crust onto a wooden cutting board and stack them on top of each other. Use the lid of a mason jar or a biscuit cutter to cut circles for the meat pies.
Scoop about 2 tablespoons of meat filling onto one side of the pie circle. Fold in half and use a fork to crimp and seal the edges.
Brush meat pies with melted 2 tablespoons butter and sprinkle 1/2 teaspoon black pepper over the top. Add to the air fryer set cook time for 5-7 minutes, at air fryer temperature of 330 degrees F.
