Description

Juicy, savory lamb burgers seasoned with garlic, cumin, smoked paprika, and mint, cooked to a crisp golden finish in the air fryer in about 20 minutes.

Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground lamb, 80/20
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh mint leaves, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 burger buns and toppings of choice

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, gently combine the ground lamb, red onion, garlic, mint, cumin, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix just until combined — do not overwork.
  • Divide into 4 equal portions and shape into ½-inch-thick patties, pressing a shallow dimple into the center of each.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes. Brush both sides of the patties with olive oil.
  • Arrange the patties in a single layer with space between them. Cook at 375°F for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Cook to an internal temperature of 160°F (71°C) for medium doneness, adjusting time as needed for your air fryer.
  • Rest the burgers 2–3 minutes, then build on toasted buns with your favorite toppings.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional
