Description

Easy Air Fryer Italian Butter Cookies made with simple ingredients. Soft, buttery cookies with crisp edges, ready in minutes and perfect for holidays or everyday treats.

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup butter, unsalted, room temperature
  • 2/3 cup granulated white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large egg yolks
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  • In a small mixing bowl, cream the 1 cup butter 2/3 cup granulated white sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon salt together.
  • Then add in the 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 2 large egg yolks, and mix well. Slowly add the 2 cups all-purpose flour to the mixture, and add the 3 tablespoons milk.
  • Use your hands or a cookie scooper to make 1-inch balls. As you make them place them into an ungreased air fryer tray. Or if you have an air fryer basket, set them onto the parchment paper.
  • Set cook time for 4-6 minutes at air fryer temperature of 330 degrees F, using the air fryer setting.
  • Let them cool, before removing them from the oven tray or parchment paper. The cookies will harden as they cool.
