Easy Air Fryer Italian Butter Cookies made with simple ingredients. Soft, buttery cookies with crisp edges, ready in minutes and perfect for holidays or everyday treats.
Ingredients
1cupbutter, unsalted, room temperature
2/3cupgranulated white sugar
1/2teaspoonsalt
2largeegg yolks
2cupsall-purpose flour
3tablespoonsmilk
1teaspoonvanilla extract
Instructions
In a small mixing bowl, cream the 1 cup butter2/3 cup granulated white sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon salt together.
Then add in the 1 teaspoon vanilla extract and 2 large egg yolks, and mix well. Slowly add the 2 cups all-purpose flour to the mixture, and add the 3 tablespoons milk.
Use your hands or a cookie scooper to make 1-inch balls. As you make them place them into an ungreased air fryer tray. Or if you have an air fryer basket, set them onto the parchment paper.
Set cook time for 4-6 minutes at air fryer temperature of 330 degrees F, using the air fryer setting.
Let them cool, before removing them from the oven tray or parchment paper. The cookies will harden as they cool.
