Easy Air Fryer Honey Garlic Chicken Thighs – juicy, flavorful chicken thighs cooked to perfection in the air fryer with a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce. Quick, simple, and perfect for weeknight dinners or meal prep.

Ingredients 

  • 4 chicken thighs
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup honey
  • 4 tablespoons garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon basil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Pat the 4 chicken thighs dry with a paper towel. This helps the skin get crispy and allows the sauce to stick better.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/2 cup ketchup, 1/3 cup honey, 4 tablespoons garlic, 1 teaspoon basil, 1 teaspoon kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper until smooth.
  • Brush or toss the chicken thighs in the honey garlic sauce, making sure they’re evenly coated on all sides.
  • Place the coated chicken thighs in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Set the air fryer temperature to 360 degrees F and set cook time for 18–20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chicken is fully cooked and crispy on the edges.
  • Remove the chicken and drizzle any extra sauce from the air fryer over the top. Serve with rice, steamed veggies, or your favorite sides for a complete meal.
