Description

These Easy Air Fryer Gingerbread Candied Pecans are perfectly sweet, crunchy, and infused with warm gingerbread spices. Quick to make and full of festive flavor, they’re ideal for snacking, topping salads or desserts, or giving as homemade holiday gifts.

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups raw pecan halves
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter, or neutral oil
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • teaspoon ground cloves
  • teaspoon salt, to taste

Instructions

  • Place 2 cups raw pecan halves in a mixing bowl and drizzle with 1 tablespoon melted butter or oil. Toss to coat evenly.
  • Sprinkle 2 tablespoons brown sugar, 1 teaspoon ground ginger, 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg, ⅛ teaspoon ground cloves, and ⅛ teaspoon salt over the pecans. Toss until fully coated.
  • Spread pecans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Set air fryer temperature to 300 degrees F, or 150 degrees C. Set cook time for 6–8 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even roasting.
  • Transfer roasted pecans to a baking sheet or plate to cool. They will crisp up as they cool.
  • Enjoy immediately, sprinkle over desserts, or store in an airtight container.
