Easy Air Fryer Firecracker Chicken

Description

Crispy, tender, and full of flavor! Make sweet and spicy firecracker chicken in your air fryer in under 30 minutes for dinners or game-day snacks.

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1/3 cup cornstarch
  • 2 large eggs, beaten
  • 1/3 cup buffalo hot sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar

Instructions

  • Start by seasoning your 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts with 2 teaspoons salt and 2 teaspoons black pepper.
  • Cut your chicken into 1 piece cubes, and coat them with 1/3 cup cornstarch.
  • Then dip the chicken into the 2 large eggs.
  • Then place it on the air fryer pan, coat with olive oil.
  • Set air fryer temperature to 370 degrees F, and set cook time for 8-10 minutes, flipping halfway.
  • Meanwhile in a bowl, mix together the b1/3 cup buffalo hot sauce, 1/2 cup brown sugar and 1 tablespoon rice vinegar, mix well.
  • Soak your chicken into the sauce, and put it back on the air fry tray or air fryer basket.
  • Set back into the air fryer, and cook for 2-4 minutes, at 400 degrees F.
  • Pour over the rice and garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
