Description

Crispy, golden breaded pierogies made easily in the air fryer. Perfect for snacks, appetizers, or a quick weeknight side, this Easy Air Fryer Breaded Pierogies recipe delivers tender, flavorful pierogies in minutes.

Ingredients 

  • 16 pierogies, frozen
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 1/2 cup dipping sauce, optional

Instructions

  • In a bowl, whisk together the 1 large egg and 1/2 cup milk until smooth. Dip a few 16 pierogies at a time into the mixture, letting them soak for 1–2 minutes, then coat thoroughly with the 1 cup bread crumbs and 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese mixture.
  • Lightly spray your air fryer basket or tray with olive oil or cooking spray, then arrange the coated pierogies in a single layer. Set air fryer temperature to 400 degrees F for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway through, and spray again midway for extra crispy, golden results.
  • Serve with your favorite 1/2 cup dipping sauce, or garnish with fresh herbs.
