Ingredients
1packagerefrigerated pie crust dough
1cupblueberry pie filling
1largeegg white
2tablespoonssparkling sugar
Instructions
Start by laying out your 1 package refrigerated pie crust dough on a flat surface, using a rolling pin to flatten if needed.
Using a round cookie cutter or the rim of a glass, cut out circles from your dough.
Spoon about 1-2 tablespoons of the blueberry pie filling into the center of half of the circles, ensuring you leave space around the edges.
Take the remaining circles and place them on top of the filled ones. Press down the edges gently with your fingers, then use a fork to crimp them shut.
In a small bowl, beat 1 large egg white with a tablespoon of water. Brush this mixture over the top of each hand pie. If desired, sprinkle with 2 tablespoons sparkling sugar for a sweet crust.
Preheat your air fryer temperature to 375 degrees F (190°C). Once heated, place the hand pies in a single layer, ensuring they don't touch. Set cook time for 8-10 minutes or until they're golden brown, turning halfway through.
