Description

Easy Air Fryer Aloha Grilled Chicken recipe – juicy, sweet, and tangy chicken marinated in pineapple, soy sauce, and ginger, cooked quickly in the air fryer for a tropical weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened pineapple juice
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon ginger, grated
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • 1 large pineapple, slice into rings, and cut in half (semi-circles)

Serve with sliced green onions and fresh parsley

Instructions

  • Add the 1 cup unsweetened pineapple juice, 1/4 cup ketchup, 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon ginger to a large mixing bowl. Mix well until well combined.
  • Pour the marinade into a large bowl, add your 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breast, and cover and refrigerator for about 2 hours
  • Preheat your air fryer temperature to 360 degrees F, brush the olive oil over the air fryer basket, and set the chicken into the air fryer. Set the cook time for 12-15 minutes, or until the chicken’s internal temperature reaches 165 degrees F.
  • Toss the 1 large pineapple sliced with 1 teaspoon olive oil, just enough to coat the pineapple.
  • During the last 4 minutes of cooking, add the pineapples to the chicken's air fry the chicken and pineapple with sliced green onions right before serving.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional
