Grease a small ramekin or oven-safe cake pan that fits comfortably in your air fryer basket. Pour the almond cake batter into the greased ramekin or cake pan.
Place the ramekin or cake pan in the preheated air fryer basket.
Set cook time for 15-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Keep an eye on it, as cooking times may vary.
While the cake cools, prepare a simple almond glaze by whisking 2 tablespoons powdered sugar, 1/2 teaspoon almond extract, and 1/2 teaspoon water until smooth.
Once the cake has cooled slightly, drizzle the almond glaze over the top.
