Easy no-bake acorn donut holes made with store-bought glazed donut holes, melted chocolate, chocolate sprinkles, and pretzel stick stems. A 20-minute fall treat that's perfect for Thanksgiving, Halloween, and kids' parties.
Ingredients
20glazed donut holes
3/4cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips
10thin pretzel sticks, snapped in half
1/2cupchocolate sprinkles, jimmies
Instructions
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Snap the pretzel sticks in half and set aside.
Pour the chocolate sprinkles into a small bowl and set it within easy reach.
Place the chocolate chips in a small microwave-safe bowl. Melt in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth and glossy — about 60 to 90 seconds total.
Dip the top third of a donut hole into the melted chocolate, scraping off the excess against the rim of the bowl.
Immediately dip the chocolate-coated top into the sprinkles, pressing gently so they adhere.
Press a pretzel stick half straight down into the center of the chocolate top to form the acorn stem. Do not twist.
Place on the parchment-lined tray and repeat with the remaining donut holes.
Chill in the refrigerator for 5 minutes to set the chocolate, or serve immediately while the chocolate is still soft.

Notes
Slightly day-old donut holes are easier to work with than very fresh ones.
If the chocolate is too thick, stir in 1 teaspoon of coconut or vegetable oil.
Keep all water away from the melted chocolate or it will seize.
Store in an airtight container at room temperature up to 2 days. Do not freeze.
