Ingredients 

  • 1 pound Shrimp, large shrimp, peeled, and deveined shrimp
  • 1/2 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup Cornstarch
  • 1 large Egg, beaten
  • 1/2 cup Mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha, adjust to taste
  • 1 clove Garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Sesame seeds, optional, for garnish
  • 2 Green onions, thinly sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  • Start by patting the shrimp dry with a paper towel. In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, and a pinch of salt. Dip each shrimp into the flour mixture, then dip into a beaten egg, and coat again with the flour mixture.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C). Lightly spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking.
  • Arrange the coated shrimp in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to ensure even cooking, until the shrimp are golden and crispy.
  • While the shrimp cook, mix mayonnaise, sriracha, minced garlic, and lemon juice in a bowl. Adjust the sriracha for more or less heat, depending on your preference.
  • Once the shrimp are cooked, transfer them to a large bowl. Pour the dynamite sauce over the shrimp and toss gently to coat each shrimp evenly with the creamy sauce.
  • Transfer the coated shrimp to a serving dish. Garnish with sesame seeds and sliced green onions before serving. Enjoy your crispy, creamy, spicy dynamite shrimp!
