Description

Make these Copycat Easy White Castle Burgers right at home with juicy beef patties, soft slider buns, and that classic onion-packed flavor. Quick to prep and perfect for weeknight dinners, parties, or freezer-friendly meals.

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound ground beef, preferably 80/20 for juiciness
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 cup finely diced onions, or rehydrated dehydrated onions for classic flavor
  • 12 slider buns
  • 6 slices American cheese, optional, cut in half
  • Pickle slices, optional topping
  • 1 tablespoon butter, for toasting buns

Instructions

  • Heat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  • Divide the ground beef into 12 equal portions (about 2 ounces each). Flatten into thin patties slightly larger than the slider buns — they’ll shrink as they cook.
  • Sprinkle each patty with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Spread a small handful of diced onions underneath each patty if you want the classic steamed-onion flavor.
  • Place patties in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook 4–5 minutes, flip, then cook another 3–4 minutes until done.
  • If you’re adding cheese, place a half-slice on each patty during the last minute so it melts perfectly.
  • Lightly butter the slider buns and air fry 1–2 minutes until golden.
  • Add patties to buns, top with pickles or your favorite toppings, and serve warm.
