Description

Make golden, crispy Dairy Queen-style chicken strips at home using your air fryer. Juicy, flavorful, and perfect for family meals or snacks.

Ingredients 

  • 1 ½ lbs chicken tenders,
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika ,
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 large large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk , or buttermilk

Instructions

  • Pat the 1 ½ lbs chicken tenders dry with a paper towel to help the coating stick.
  • In a shallow bowl, whisk together 1 cup all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon paprika , 1 teaspoon garlic powder , 1 teaspoon onion powder , ½ teaspoon salt , and ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • In another bowl, beat the 2 large large eggs with 2 tablespoons milk until smooth.
  • Dip each chicken tender in the egg mixture, then dredge in the seasoned flour, pressing lightly to ensure coating sticks.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes.
  • Place coated chicken tenders in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Lightly spray with cooking oil. Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and cooked to 165°F (74°C).
  • Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauces like honey mustard, BBQ, or ranch.
