Description

Recreate the famous Copycat Cracker Barrel Bacon & Cheddar Quiche at home! This hearty, cheesy breakfast classic is packed with smoky bacon, melty cheddar, and a flaky crust—perfect for brunch or meal prep.

Ingredients 

  • 1 9- inch pie crust , store-bought or homemade
  • 6 slices thick-cut bacon, cooked and chopped
  • 1 ½ cups sharp cheddar cheese, freshly shredded
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 4 large eggs
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • teaspoon ground nutmeg, optional, but recommended

Instructions

  • Preheat Oven to 375°F (190°C). Place your pie crust in a 9-inch pie dish. Crimp edges as desired.
  • Precook Bacon until crispy, then chop. Drain on paper towels.
  • Layer the Cheese and Bacon into the pie crust evenly.
  • Whisk Together Eggs, Cream, Milk, and Seasonings in a medium bowl until fully combined.
  • Pour Egg Mixture over the bacon and cheese in the pie crust.
  • Bake for 35–40 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
  • Cool Slightly, then slice and serve warm!
