Description

Make Copycat Chili’s Texas Cheese Fries at home with crispy air-fried fries, melted cheese, bacon, and flavorful toppings. Perfect for a tasty snack or side dish!

Ingredients 

  • 28 ounces Frozen French fries
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
  • 6 slices bacon, cooked bacon, crumbled
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
  • 2 tablespoons ranch dressing, optional, for serving
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  • Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C).
  • Place the frozen French fries in the air fryer basket in a single layer. Air fry for 12-15 minutes, shaking halfway through, until crispy and golden brown.
  • Transfer the cooked fries to a heat-safe dish or a foil-lined air fryer basket. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, and seasoned salt.
  • Evenly sprinkle shredded cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese over the fries. Add crumbled bacon on top.
  • Return the fries to the air fryer and air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 2-3 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Serve: Remove from the air fryer and garnish with ranch dressing and chopped green onions, if desired.
