Ingredients

unsalted butter

heavy whipping cream
1 ½

Parmesan cheese

grated or shaved, not powdered

Instructions
In a large saucepan, melt the
1 cup unsalted butter
over medium heat.
Once the butter has melted, add the
1 cup heavy whipping cream
and stir well.
Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring constantly. Allow it to cook for about 3-4 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
Gradually add the grated
1 ½ cups Parmesan cheese
, stirring continuously until the cheese melts and blends into a smooth, creamy sauce.
Add
½ teaspoon salt
and
¼ teaspoon white pepper
to taste, adjusting the seasoning as needed.
