Pat the steaks dry with paper towels and season both sides generously with salt and black pepper. Let the steaks rest at room temperature for 15-20 minutes before cooking.
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
Lightly brush the steaks with olive oil. Place the steaks in the air fryer basket and cook at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes for medium-rare, flipping halfway through. Adjust cooking time for your desired level of doneness.
While the steaks cook, melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onions and sauté for 3-4 minutes, until softened. Add the minced garlic and cook for another 1 minute.
Carefully add the bourbon to the skillet, then add the beef broth, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, and brown sugar. Stir well and let the sauce simmer for 4-5 minutes, allowing it to thicken slightly.
Once the steaks are cooked to your liking, remove them from the air fryer and let them rest for 5 minutes. Drizzle the bourbon glaze over the steaks and top with sautéed onions.
Garnish with fresh parsley and serve immediately with your favorite sides.
