Make a flavorful cocktail sauce without horseradish using simple ingredients. Perfect for dipping shrimp and seafood with a mild, tangy taste.
Ingredients
½
cup
ketchup
2
tablespoons
prepared mustard
,
Dijon or yellow
1
tablespoon
Worcestershire sauce
1
tablespoon
lemon juice
1
teaspoon
hot sauce
,
optional, adjust to taste
1/2
teaspoon
salt
,
to taste
1/4
teaspoon
black pepper
,
to taste
Instructions
In a bowl, mix
½ cup ketchup
and
2 tablespoons prepared mustard
until smooth.
Stir in
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
and
1 tablespoon lemon juice
.
Add
1 teaspoon hot sauce
if you want a little heat, or leave it out for a milder sauce.
Season with
1/2 teaspoon salt
and
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
to taste.
Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to let flavors blend.
