Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a baking dish, toss together the cherry tomatoes, chopped shallot, minced garlic, and olive oil until evenly coated.
Roast the tomato mixture for 20–25 minutes, or until the tomatoes begin to burst and release their juices.
For extra flavor and color, broil on high for 2–3 minutes to lightly brown the top.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool for about 5 minutes.
Sprinkle with chopped fresh basil, season with salt and pepper, and gently place the burrata on top.
Drizzle with balsamic glaze and serve with crostini, crackers, or slices of crusty bread.
