Description

Bob Evan’s Hand-Breaded Chicken Tenders Copycat Recipe that is golden and crispy made in the air fryer! Easy peasy to make, SUPER tasty and great dunked into your favorite dipping sauce.

Ingredients 

  • 1 ½ pounds chicken tenders , boneless strips
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 large large eggs , or ¾ cup buttermilk
  • 1 ½ cups breadcrumbs , or panko
  • 1 ½ teaspoons paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Slice chicken breasts into strips (or use 1 ½ pounds chicken tenders ). Pat dry with paper towels.
  • Bowl 1: 1 cup all-purpose flour , 1 teaspoon salt , 1 teaspoon black pepper , 1 ½ teaspoons paprika , 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Bowl 2: Beaten e3 large large eggs (or buttermilk).
  • Bowl 3: 1 ½ cups breadcrumbs (panko or regular) mixed with a little flour for crunch.
  • Dredge each piece in flour, dip into egg, then coat evenly in breadcrumbs. Lightly spray both sides with cooking oil.
  • Preheat air fryer to 375°F. Place tenders in a single layer in the basket. Cook 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden brown and cooked through to 165°F internally.
  • Enjoy hot with your favorite dipping sauces like ranch, honey mustard, or BBQ. Perfect with fries, coleslaw, or mashed potatoes.
