Ingredients 

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup teriyaki sauce
  • 2 large bell peppers, red, yellow, or green, diced into large chunks
  • 1 large red onion, diced into large chunks
  • 1 zucchini, sliced into thick rounds
  • 1 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, for garnish
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh cilantro, or parsley, optional for garnish

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with half of the teriyaki sauce, ensuring they’re fully coated. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Soak wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes to avoid burning.
  • Thread shrimp, bell peppers, onions, zucchini, and pineapple onto the skewers.
  • Preheat the griddle to medium-high, brush with oil, and cook skewers for 4-5 minutes per side, basting with remaining teriyaki sauce in the last 2 minutes.
  • Garnish with sesame seeds and fresh herbs, then serve with rice or salad.
