1poundlarge shrimp, peeled and deveined
1cupteriyaki sauce
2largebell peppers, red, yellow, or green, diced into large chunks
1largered onion, diced into large chunks
1zucchini, sliced into thick rounds
1cuppineapple chunks
1tablespoonsesame seeds, for garnish
1tablespoonFresh cilantro, or parsley, optional for garnish
Instructions
In a large bowl, toss the shrimp with half of the teriyaki sauce, ensuring they’re fully coated. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes.
Soak wooden skewers in water for 10 minutes to avoid burning.
Thread shrimp, bell peppers, onions, zucchini, and pineapple onto the skewers.
Preheat the griddle to medium-high, brush with oil, and cook skewers for 4-5 minutes per side, basting with remaining teriyaki sauce in the last 2 minutes.
