Description

Learn how to make crispy Blackstone Potato Chips on your griddle. This easy recipe delivers the perfect crunchy snack, ideal for serving as a side or topping with cheese and bacon for a loaded version.

Ingredients 

  • 2 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil,
  • 1 teaspoons kosher salt,
  • 1/2 teaspoons black pepper
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheese o , cheddar, or Colby jack
  • 5 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled bacon

Toppings: Sour Cream, green onions, ranch dressing, etc.

Instructions

  • Set your Blackstone griddle to medium-high heat and allow it to fully preheat.
  • While the griddle heats up, wash and slice the potatoes into 1/4-inch thick rounds for even cooking.
  • Drizzle a bit of oil onto the hot surface and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  • Place the potato slices on the griddle and cook for 5 to 6 minutes on each side, until golden and crispy.
  • Sprinkle kosher salt and pepper on both sides of the potatoes as they cook.
  • Once the potatoes are crisp, turn off the heat and top each chip with shredded cheese and crumbled bacon.
  • Let the residual heat melt the cheese, then remove the chips from the griddle.
  • Serve hot with a side of ranch or sour cream and garnish with fresh chives if desired.
