Description

Try these Black Garlic Deviled Eggs for a unique twist on a classic appetizer! Creamy, savory, and with the rich depth of black garlic, they’re perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients 

  • 6 large Eggs
  • 2 cloves Black garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon White wine vinegar
  • 1/4 teaspoon Paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt , to taste
  • 1/8 teaspoon Black pepper, to taste
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh herbs, chopped (optional)

Instructions

  • Start by hard-boiling the eggs. Place them in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Once boiling, cover the pot, remove from heat, and let sit for 10-12 minutes. Afterward, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water to cool. Once cooled, peel the eggs and slice them in half lengthwise.
  • Remove the yolks from the egg whites and place them in a mixing bowl. Mash the yolks with a fork until smooth. Add the mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white wine vinegar, black garlic, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix everything together until creamy and well combined.
  • Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture into the hollowed-out egg whites, filling them generously.
  • Sprinkle with additional paprika for a pop of color, and optionally, top with fresh herbs like chopped chives or parsley.

Notes

To air fry hard-boiled eggs, preheat your air fryer to 270°F (130°C). Place the eggs in the air fryer basket, ensuring they’re not overcrowded, and cook for 17-18 minutes. Once done, transfer them to a bowl of ice water to cool for 5-10 minutes before peeling.
