Learn how to make the perfect Air Fryer Bistecca Alla Fiorentina (Florentine Steak). This delicious Italian dish features a T-bone or porterhouse steak seasoned with rosemary and garlic, cooked to perfection in the air fryer.

Ingredients 

  • 1 T-bone , or porterhouse steak, approximately 1–1.5 inches thick
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 4 Lemon wedges, for serving

Instructions

  • Pat the 1 T-bone dry with paper towels. Rub both sides with 2 tablespoon olive oil, 1 teaspoon kosher salt, 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, and minced 1 clove garlic. Let the steak rest at room temperature for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 5 minutes.
  • Place the steak in the air fryer basket. Cook for 6–8 minutes per side for medium-rare, adjusting based on desired doneness (use a meat thermometer: 125°F for rare, 135°F for medium-rare, and 145°F for medium).
  • Remove the steak from the air fryer and let it rest for 5 minutes on a cutting board.
  • Slice the steak against the grain, drizzle with extra olive oil, garnish with 4 Lemon wedges, and serve immediately.
