Ingredients
2cupsSharp Cheddar Cheese, shredded
4ouncesCream Cheese
1/2cupBeer
1/2teaspoonGarlic Powder
1/2teaspoonOnion Powder
1teaspoonWorcestershire Sauce
1/4teaspoonHot Sauce, Optional
2tablespoonsButter
1teaspoonSalt, to taste
1/2teaspoonBlack Pepper, to taste
Instructions
Shred the 2 cups Sharp Cheddar Cheese and soften the 4 ounces Cream Cheese to room temperature. Measure out the beer, butter, and seasonings so everything is ready to go.
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the 2 tablespoons Butter then add the cream cheese. Stir continuously until smooth and creamy.
Gradually whisk in the 1/2 cup Beer, 1/2 teaspoon Garlic Powder1/2 teaspoon Onion Powder, 1 teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce, and 1/4 teaspoon Hot Sauce (if using). Cook for 2–3 minutes until fully combined.
Slowly stir in the shredded cheddar cheese, a handful at a time, until melted and smooth. Adjust thickness by adding a little more beer if needed.
Add 1 teaspoon Salt and 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepperas desired. Taste and adjust the seasoning to balance flavor.
Transfer the dip to a serving bowl and serve warm with soft pretzels, vegetables, or crackers.
