Drain 1 cup dill pickle chips and pat them dry with paper towels. This is important so the coating sticks.
Set Up Breading Stations:
Bowl 1: Mix ½ cup all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1 teaspoon paprika, ½ teaspoon salt and ½ teaspoon black pepper.
Bowl 2: Whisk 1 large egg and ½ cup buttermilk together.
Bowl 3: Add 1 cup panko breadcrumbs.
Dredge each pickle chip in the flour mixture, dip into the egg mixture, then coat with breadcrumbs. Press gently so the crumbs stick.
Place breaded pickles in a single layer in your air fryer basket. Lightly spray with cooking spray.
Air fry at 400°F for 7–9 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
Enjoy hot with ranch, tartar sauce, or Arthur Treacher’s remoulade sauce.
