Description

One of the most underrated sandwiches in all of fast food, Arby’s makes an amazing corned beef Reuben! Piled with thin sliced corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and a generous amount of thousand island dressing on both slices of rye bread, this warm sandwich is the perfect combination of savory, sweet, salty, and acidic flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 teaspoon butter, or Vegetable oil spray
  • 2 slices rye bread
  • 3 tablespoons thousand Island dressing
  • 1/3 pound sliced deli corned beef
  • 2 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1/3 cup sauerkraut, drained

Instructions

  • Spray the bottoms of 2 slices of rye bread with vegetable oil spray or lightly butter to brown as the sandwich toasts in the air fryer. Place oiled-side down.
  • Top both slices of bread with 1 1/2 tablespoons of thousand island dressing.
  • Roll or fold the sliced corned beef up to create height and place over the dressing on one slice of the bread. Top with the Swiss cheese.
  • Top the other slice of bread with the drained sauerkraut. Transfer both halves of the sandwich to the air fryer basket, oiled-side down, to cook open-faced.
  • Air fry at 350°F for 8–10 minutes, until bread is crispy on the bottom, cheese has melted, and meat has warmed throughout.
  • Combine both halves to make a sandwich before slicing to serve.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional
