Recreate Applebee’s Honey BBQ Sauce with this easy copycat recipe. Sweet, smoky, and perfect for chicken, ribs, wings, and dipping.

Ingredients 

  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • In a medium saucepan, add all ingredients and whisk until fully combined.
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat, then reduce to low.
  • Simmer uncovered for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened to your liking.
  • Let the sauce cool. Use immediately or store in an airtight jar in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
