Description

Air Fryer Teriyaki Pork Tenderloin is a straightforward recipe, but the slow-roasted flavor you get by cooking it in the air fryer is AMAZING!

Ingredients 

  • 1 Pork Tenderloin
  • 1/4 cup Soy Sauce
  • 2 tbsp Brown Sugar
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp Ginger, grated
  • 2 tbsp Rice Vinegar
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil

Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix together the soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, minced garlic, grated ginger, rice vinegar, and sesame oil until well combined.
  • Place the pork tenderloin in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the pork, ensuring it is well coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to penetrate the meat. For best results, marinate for 2-4 hours.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes. This ensures the air fryer is hot enough to cook the pork tenderloin evenly.
  • Remove the pork tenderloin from the marinade and pat it dry with paper towels to prevent excess moisture from causing the marinade to burn in the air fryer.
  • Place the pork tenderloin in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 20-25 minutes, flipping halfway through the cooking time to ensure even cooking.
  • Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature. The pork should reach an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
  • Once the pork tenderloin reaches the desired temperature, remove it from the air fryer and let it rest for 5-10 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute, making the pork more tender and flavorful.
  • Slice the pork tenderloin and garnish with sliced green onions. Serve with your favorite side dishes such as steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.
