Description

Learn how to make a delicious Air Fryer Surf and Turf with juicy steak and shrimp, perfectly seasoned and cooked in the air fryer for a quick and flavorful meal. Ideal for date night or any special occasion!

Ingredients 

Marinade:

  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 4 limes, juiced
  • 3 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher salt, adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons cilantro, diced
  • 1 pound sirloin steak , cut into 1" cubes
  • 1 pound jumbo shrimp, deveined + peeled

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, add the olive oil, lime juice, minced garlic, Kosher salt, and diced fresh cilantro. Mix well.
  • Toss the diced steak cubes and shrimp in the marinate, for the best flavor, cover and refrigerate for 20-30 minutes.
  • Thread the steak cubes and shrimp onto skewers, alternating between the two to create a surf and turf combination. Ensure the pieces are evenly spaced for even cooking.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F (200°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Place the assembled kebabs in the air fryer basket in a single layer. You may need to cook them in batches depending on the size of your air fryer. Air fry surf and turf at air fryer temperature of 400 degrees F (200°C) and set the cook time for 8-10 minutes, turning them halfway through the cooking time, until the steak is cooked to your desired doneness and the shrimp are pink and opaque.
  • Brush the kebabs with the melted butter mixture for added flavor.
  • Remove the kebabs from the air fryer and let them rest for a couple of minutes. Garnish with chopped fresh herbs if desired and serve immediately.

  • Wooden Skewers, Soaked in cold water for 30 minutes

Notes

Note: While the steak and shrimp is marinating soak the wooden skewers in cold water, for 30 minutes, to prevent charring.
