- Trim the crusts off the bread slices to make them easier to roll.
- Use a rolling pin to flatten the bread slices. This makes them more pliable for rolling.
- Spread a thin layer of strawberry jam on each flattened bread slice. Be careful not to overfill to avoid leaking during cooking.
- Roll up the bread slices tightly from one end to the other. Press gently to seal the roll if necessary.
- In a shallow dish, whisk together the eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and ground cinnamon until well combined.
- Dip each bread roll-up into the egg mixture, allowing the excess to drip off. Optionally, you can sprinkle the roll-ups with granulated sugar for added sweetness and texture.
- Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) if your air fryer requires preheating.
- Grease the air fryer basket with butter or non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Place the roll-ups in the air fryer basket in a single layer, making sure they do not touch to ensure even cooking.
- Cook for about 8-10 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. You might need to flip them halfway through the cooking time for even browning.
- Carefully remove the French toast roll-ups from the air fryer.
- Dust with powdered sugar before serving, if desired.
