These Air Fryer steak tostadas are hands down one of my all-time favorite Mexican-inspired meals.
Ingredients
1poundsteak, flank, diced into cubes
1teaspoonolive oil
2teaspoonstaco seasoning
1teaspoonlime juice
8Tostada Shells
12ouncesrefried beans
1cupqueso fresco
2teaspoonshot sauce, optional
1teaspooncilantro, fresh
Instructions
Coat the steak generously with olive oil, then sprinkle on taco seasoning and a squeeze of lime juice. Allow the steak to marinate for a delightful infusion of flavors, ideally for 20-30 minutes, ensuring each bite bursts with zesty goodness.
Transfer the marinated steak into the air fryer basket and set the air fryer temperature to 400 degrees F. Set the cook time for for 8-10 minutes, shaking the basket intermittently to ensure even cooking.
Heat the Tostadas for 1-2 minutes at 380 degrees F.
Plate the taste, with bottom layer of Tostadas (warmed), refried beans, steak, shredded queso cheese, and drizzle lime juice and hot sauce (optional).
