Ingredients
2cupschicken, shredded cooked chicken
8ouncesfrozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
6ouncesBrie cheese, cut into 1-inch pieces
¼cuppecans
9inchpie dough, already prepared
Instructions
Start with 2 cups of shredded cooked chicken. Use any pre-cooked chicken for convenience. Thaw frozen spinach and squeeze out all the excess moisture. This step is crucial to prevent a soggy tart.
Cut Brie cheese into 1-inch pieces. Measure out ¼ cup of pecans.
Roll out the pie dough on a lightly floured surface to a size that will fit in your air fryer basket. You can trim the edges to make it round or leave it rustic with an irregular shape.
Transfer the dough to a piece of parchment paper. This will make it easier to move the tart in and out of the air fryer.
Spread the shredded chicken evenly over the pie dough, leaving a border of about 1 inch around the edges. Top the chicken with the squeezed dry spinach, then scatter the Brie cheese pieces and pecans over the spinach.
Gently fold the edges of the dough over the filling, overlapping as necessary to create a border. Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F (175°C).
Carefully transfer the tart along with the parchment paper into the air fryer basket. Set cook time for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese has melted. Once the tart is cooked, allow it to cool slightly in the basket before transferring it to a serving plate. Cut into wedges and serve warm.
