Description

Make this easy Air Fryer Rustic Chicken Tart with flaky pie crust, juicy chicken, creamy Brie, spinach, and crunchy pecans—perfect for a quick, gourmet-style meal.

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups chicken, shredded cooked chicken
  • 8 ounces frozen spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
  • 6 ounces Brie cheese, cut into 1-inch pieces
  • ¼ cup pecans
  • 9 inch pie dough, already prepared

Instructions

  • Start with 2 cups of shredded cooked chicken. Use any pre-cooked chicken for convenience. Thaw frozen spinach and squeeze out all the excess moisture. This step is crucial to prevent a soggy tart.
  • Cut Brie cheese into 1-inch pieces. Measure out ¼ cup of pecans.
  • Roll out the pie dough on a lightly floured surface to a size that will fit in your air fryer basket. You can trim the edges to make it round or leave it rustic with an irregular shape.
  • Transfer the dough to a piece of parchment paper. This will make it easier to move the tart in and out of the air fryer.
  • Spread the shredded chicken evenly over the pie dough, leaving a border of about 1 inch around the edges. Top the chicken with the squeezed dry spinach, then scatter the Brie cheese pieces and pecans over the spinach.
  • Gently fold the edges of the dough over the filling, overlapping as necessary to create a border. Preheat your air fryer to 350 degrees F (175°C).
  • Carefully transfer the tart along with the parchment paper into the air fryer basket. Set cook time for 15-20 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese has melted. Once the tart is cooked, allow it to cool slightly in the basket before transferring it to a serving plate. Cut into wedges and serve warm.
