Description

Air Fryer Pear Bread -- Have you ever used your air fryer to make bread? It's easier than you might think, and the results are delicious.

Ingredients 

Pear Bread Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs, room temperature
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup apple sauce
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 2 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • 2 large pears, chopped

Streusel Ingredints:

  • 4 Tbsp flour
  • 5 Tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 4 Tbsp brown sugar
  • ½ cup almonds, chopped
  • 4 butter, melted

Instructions

  • Begin by chopping pears into small pieces. Leaving the skin on the pears is optional.
  • Next, beat the eggs in a medium bowl. Beat until slightly pale 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the sugar and vanilla to the bowl of beaten eggs.
  • In a separate large bowl, add the flour, cinnamon, salt, and baking soda. Stir to combine.
  • Pour the egg mixture into the flour. Pour in the milk.
  • Fold in the chopped pears and applesauce.
  • Pour the dough into an oiled pan that fits your particular air fryer basket.
  • Prepare streusel in a food processor and spread over the top of the bread.
  • Air fry at 330F for 30-45 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool before slicing.
