- Preheat the Air Fryer: Start by preheating your air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
- Prepare the Coating: In a shallow dish, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, Panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, a pinch of salt, and a dash of black pepper. Mix well to create the flavorful breadcrumb mixture.
- Coat the Chicken: Dip each chicken bite into the beaten egg, ensuring it's fully coated. Allow any excess egg to drip off.
- Breadcrumb Coating: Place the egg-coated chicken pieces into the seasoned breadcrumb mixture. Press the breadcrumbs onto the chicken, making sure they adhere well to create a satisfying crust.
- Prep for Air Frying: Lightly spray the air fryer basket with olive oil spray to prevent sticking. Place the breaded chicken bites in the basket in a single layer, leaving space between them for even cooking.
- Air Fry: Spray the tops of the chicken bites with a bit more olive oil. Cook in the preheated air fryer at 400°F (200°C) for 8-10 minutes, flipping them halfway through the cooking time. The chicken should be golden and crispy.
- Serve: Once the Garlic Parmesan Chicken Bites are cooked to perfection, remove them from the air fryer and let them cool for a minute. Serve hot as a delightful appetizer or snack.
