This Air Fryer Mushroom Toast is an easy, savory recipe featuring crispy bread topped with garlicky mushrooms and herbs—perfect for a quick breakfast, brunch, or snack.
Ingredients
1cupsliced mushrooms, cremini, white, or mixed
1tablespoonolive oil or melted butter
1clovegarlic, minced
1/2teaspoonsalt, to taste
1/4teaspoonblack pepper, to taste
1/2teaspoonfresh thyme, or chopped parsley, optional
2slicesthick-cut bread, sourdough or multigrain
Instructions
In a small bowl, toss the sliced mushrooms with olive oil, garlic, salt, pepper, and herbs if using.
Preheat air fryer to 375°F. Add mushrooms to the basket in a single layer. Cook for 7–10 minutes, shaking halfway, until tender and golden.
While the mushrooms cook, brush bread slices with a little olive oil. Air fry at 375°F for 3–5 minutes until golden and crispy.
