Description

Delicious Air Fryer Mincemeat Pies with a golden, flaky crust and a rich, spiced mincemeat filling—perfect for a festive treat or holiday dessert!

Ingredients 

  • 14 ounces shortcrust pastry, pre-made
  • 2 cups mincemeat filling
  • 1 large egg, for egg wash
  • 1/4 cup Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions

  • Roll out the shortcrust pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut out circles using a cookie cutter or a glass (about 3-4 inches in diameter).
  • Place half of the pastry circles on a lined air fryer basket. Spoon about 1 tablespoon of mincemeat filling onto each circle.
  • Top each filled circle with another pastry circle and press the edges with a fork to seal. Make a small slit on the top of each pie for steam to escape.
  • Beat the egg and brush it over the tops of the pies for a golden finish.
  • Preheat your air fryer to 320°F (160°C). Arrange the pies in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Cook for about 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow to cool slightly before dusting with powdered sugar. Serve warm and enjoy!
