Air Fryer Margherita Flatbread Pizza

Description

This was a really easy recipe, recipe, I loved the roasted garlic flavor on the crust, it made for a truly family delighted meal, that only took minutes.

Ingredients 

  • 2 flatbreads
  • 1 cup tomato sauce
  • 8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced, or shredded
  • 2-3 large Roma tomatoes, thinly sliced
  • 3 Fresh basil leaves
  • 1 teaspoon Olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt , to taste
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black peper, to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C).
  • Place your flatbread on a clean surface or on a piece of parchment paper.
  • Spread a thin layer of marinara sauce over the flatbread, leaving a small border around the edges.
  • Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese evenly over the marinara sauce.
  • Arrange thinly sliced fresh tomatoes on top of the cheese.
  • Drizzle a little olive oil over the assembled pizza.
  • Carefully transfer the pizza to the air fryer basket or tray.
  • Cook the pizza in the air fryer for 6-8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the flatbread are golden brown.
  • Once cooked, remove the pizza from the air fryer and let it cool for a minute before slicing.
  • Tear fresh basil leaves and scatter them over the pizza.
