Description

Air Fryer Keto Onion Rings are a crispy, low-carb alternative to traditional onion rings, made with a gluten-free breading for a guilt-free snack or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 large onions
  • 6 tablespoons coconut flour
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 ½ cup pork rinds, ground
  • 6 tablespoons almond flour
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt

Instructions

  • Start by lining your air fryer basket with parchment paper to prevent sticking.
  • Next, prepare your dredging stations: in one bowl, mix coconut flour and salt; in another, whisk the eggs; and in the third bowl, combine ground pork rinds, almond flour, paprika, and garlic salt.
  • Dredge each onion ring first in the coconut flour, then dip into the egg mixture, and finally coat with the pork rind mixture. As you bread the rings, place them onto the parchment-lined basket.
  • Lightly spray the onion rings with non-aerosol cooking spray for extra crispiness.
  • Set your air fryer to 400°F and cook the onion rings for 8–10 minutes, or until they’re golden and fully cooked.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional
