Description

Ingredients 

  • 3 large eggs, separated
  • 3 tablespoons cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt, optional

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 300°F (150°C) for a few minutes.
  • In a large bowl, separate the egg whites from the yolks, ensuring no yolk is left in the whites to maintain the fluffiness of the cloud bread.
  • Add the cream cheese and, if desired, salt and garlic powder to the egg yolks, mixing until smooth and well combined.
  • In a separate bowl, add cream of tartar to the egg whites.
  • Using an electric mixer, beat the egg whites on high speed until stiff peaks form; they should be glossy and hold their shape.
  • Gently fold the egg yolk and cream cheese mixture into the beaten egg whites, taking care not to overmix to preserve the fluffiness.
  • Line the air fryer basket with parchment paper or use silicone mats for easy cleanup.
  • Scoop spoonfuls of the cloud bread chip mixture onto the parchment paper in the air fryer basket, forming rounds about 3 to 4 inches wide, leaving space for expansion.
  • Place the air fryer basket in the preheated air fryer and air fry at 300°F (150°C) for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown with a slightly crispy exterior.
  • Remove the cloud bread chips from the air fryer and let them cool for a few minutes.
  • Serve the cloud bread chips as a low-carb alternative with your favorite dip!
