Description

Homemade Air Fryer French Bread Pizza is one of the easiest recipes you can make in your air fryer. Is there anything better than homemade pizza? So much better than the frozen pizza, and this recipe takes so little time to prepare.

Ingredients 

  • 1 loaf French bread
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup pizza sauce
  • 2 fresh on the vine tomatoes, sliced
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • ¼ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon minced garlic
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • Fresh sliced basil leaves, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 375 degrees F (190°C) for about 3-5 minutes.
  • Slice the French bread in half horizontally to create two long pieces. Place the bread halves on a clean work surface.
  • Brush the cut sides of the French bread with olive oil, ensuring they are evenly coated.
  • Spread pizza sauce evenly over the cut sides of the French bread.
  • Layer sliced tomatoes on top of the pizza sauce, followed by shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, and dried oregano.
  • Place the assembled French bread pizzas in the preheated air fryer basket, ensuring they fit without overlapping. You may need to work in batches depending on the size of your air fryer.
  • Air fry the French bread pizzas at 375°F (190°C) for 8-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are crispy.
  • Once cooked, garnish the French bread pizzas with fresh basil leaves for a pop of color and freshness.
  • Carefully remove the French bread pizzas from the air fryer basket and transfer them to a cutting board. Slice them into desired portions and serve hot.
