Description

Looking for a quick and delicious way to bring the taste of the tropics to your table? Try our Air Fryer Hawaiian Shrimp Kabobs!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound shrimp, cleaned, deveined, tail on shrimp
  • 1 teaspoon olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon curry powder
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ¼ cup teriyaki sauce, Island Soyaki Sauce
  • 10 ounces fresh pineapple chunks, or canned pineapple chunks
  • 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce, for basting

Instructions

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the teriyaki sauce with the minced garlic, olive oil, and curry powder. Mix well. Meanwhile, soak your wooden skewers in cold water, for about 30 minutes, to prevent charring.
  • To the marinade add the shrimp with the Hawaiian-style marinade. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes in the refrigerator to absorb the flavors.
  • Thread the shrimp and pineapple chunks onto the skewers, alternating the ingredients for a colorful presentation.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F, for 3-5 minutes. Place the shrimp and pineapple skewers into the air fryer basket, or on the air fryer tray. Set the cook time for 8-10 minutes. For best results, use e pastry brush and brush additional teriyaki sauce on the kebabs, during the cooking process.
