Ingredients
1poundfresh green beans, washed and trimmed
1tablespoonolive oil
2clovesgarlic, minced
1/2teaspoonsalt
1/4teaspoonblack pepper
1/4cupsliced almonds
1teaspoonlemon juice, optional
Lemon zest, for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Wash and trim the ends of the green beans. Pat dry thoroughly to help them crisp up in the air fryer.
In a large bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
Place the green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking, until tender and slightly crisp.
While the green beans cook, toast the sliced almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently, until golden brown and fragrant. Remove from heat.
Transfer the cooked green beans to a serving dish. Sprinkle toasted almonds on top, add lemon juice and zest if using, and serve warm.
