Description

Air Fryer Green Beans Almondine is a quick and elegant side dish that’s full of flavor and texture. Crisp-tender green beans are air-fried and topped with golden toasted almonds and a touch of lemon for brightness. It’s a fresh, easy upgrade to your everyday veggies!

Ingredients 

  • 1 pound fresh green beans, washed and trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice, optional
  • Lemon zest, for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  • Wash and trim the ends of the green beans. Pat dry thoroughly to help them crisp up in the air fryer.
  • In a large bowl, toss the green beans with olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.
  • Place the green beans in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 380°F (193°C) for 8–10 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking, until tender and slightly crisp.
  • While the green beans cook, toast the sliced almonds in a dry skillet over medium heat for 2–3 minutes, stirring frequently, until golden brown and fragrant. Remove from heat.
  • Transfer the cooked green beans to a serving dish. Sprinkle toasted almonds on top, add lemon juice and zest if using, and serve warm.
