Description

Air Fryer Frozen Whole Chicken is a quick, no-thaw recipe that delivers crispy skin and juicy meat—perfect for a fast, flavorful dinner straight from the freezer.

Ingredients 

  • 3 pounds whole chicken, frozen
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons garlic powder, adjust to taste
  • 2 tablespoons onion powder, adjust to taste
  • 2 teaspoons paprika, adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon salt, adjust to taste
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper, adjust to taste
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh herbs, optional, rosemary, thyme

Instructions

  • Place the frozen whole chicken breast side down in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 360°F for 40 minutes to start thawing and cooking.
  • Carefully take the chicken out and check the cavity for thawed giblets. Remove and discard if present.
  • Brush the chicken with olive oil, then evenly coat it with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Rub the seasoning over the entire surface for full coverage.
  • Return the chicken to the air fryer, breast side up. Air fry at 360°F for an additional 30–40 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F in the breast and thigh.
