Ingredients
2slicesbread, brioche or challah recommended
1largeegg
¼cupmilk
¼teaspoonvanilla extract
⅛teaspoonground cinnamon, optional
Toppings: maple syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh berries
Instructions
Lightly coat a ramekin or oven-safe mug with cooking spray.
Whisk the egg, milk, and vanilla in a small bowl. (Savory: swap vanilla for salt and pepper.)
Soak the bread in the custard about 1 minute, until absorbed but not falling apart.
Place the soaked bread in the ramekin. Sweet: dust with cinnamon. Savory: crack an egg into the center and add cheese.
Air fry at 330°F for 5–7 minutes, until golden and set. Check at the halfway mark.
