Description

Learn how to cook a juicy, tender Air Fryer Flat Iron Steak with minimal effort. Perfectly seared on the outside and cooked to your desired doneness, this easy recipe delivers a mouthwatering steak in no time.

Ingredients

  • 2 flat iron steaks, about 6 oz each
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt, to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Optional seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, or your preferred steak seasoning for extra flavor

Instructions

  • Start by getting your meat at room temperature, for about 15-20 minutes. This will ensure that your steak evenly cooks and is more tender.
  • Preheat your air fryer for 3- 5 minutes at 400 degrees F, air fryer setting.
  • While your air fryer is preheating, rub 1 tablespoon olive oil and season your 2 flat iron steaks with1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and any 1 teaspoon Optional seasoning.
  • Set the seasoned flat iron steaks in the air fryer basket, and set the cook time for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway during the cooking process. Let your steaks rest for a couple of minutes after removing them from the air fryer.

Equipment

  • Air Fryer
  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional
