Ingredients
2flat iron steaks, about 6 oz each
1tablespoonolive oil
1teaspoonsalt, to taste
1/2teaspoonblack pepper, to taste
1teaspoonOptional seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, or your preferred steak seasoning for extra flavor
Instructions
Start by getting your meat at room temperature, for about 15-20 minutes. This will ensure that your steak evenly cooks and is more tender.
Preheat your air fryer for 3- 5 minutes at 400 degrees F, air fryer setting.
While your air fryer is preheating, rub 1 tablespoon olive oil and season your 2 flat iron steaks with1 teaspoon salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, and any 1 teaspoon Optional seasoning.
Set the seasoned flat iron steaks in the air fryer basket, and set the cook time for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway during the cooking process. Let your steaks rest for a couple of minutes after removing them from the air fryer.
