Description

Let me show you just how simple it is to turn your favorite fresh, in-season strawberries into a pantry staple that you can savor long after strawberry season has ended!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound fresh strawberries, or frozen strawberries
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice, optional

Instructions

  • Start by washing your strawberries and removing the stems. Cut the berries into uniform slices, about ¼-inch thick, and place them in a single layer on the air fryer basket.
  • Set the temperature to 135 degrees Fahrenheit and cook for about two hours, or until the strawberries are dried and shrunken.
  • Note: If your air fryer temperature does not go to 135, you can use the lowest setting, although you will need to check on your strawberries, frequently since you will need to flip them, several times.

Equipment

  • Cooking Spray
  • Parchment Paper, optional
